Rich, Dave and I built the car at Jaba VW Service, where Dave worked at the time.
Yup, that's me! 

Yup, I am sticking out my tongue.

This must be at a Bug-In when we first got the car running.
We built the car to have fun and we took it to the race track many Wednesday nights. Rich and Dave took turns driving......I was more interested in the mechanical aspects (motor).
Here is Rich driving the car...
...and after rolling the car 3 times going through the lights.
We over built the roll cage, adding a lot of additional weight, but in this case, it really paid off.....Rich came out without a scratch.
