This
was my store in La Habra, California. It was a franchise store of
Rose'Vear Enterprises.
Later, we opened a 2nd store in the city of Downy |

They told me this was the first indoor car showroom on the west coast. I don't know if that is true, but it certainly was old!
Before Bob Edmonds opened
this store, it was the Don Steves Chevrolet showroom. Their body shop was
still behind the store.
That's my Baja bug. |

The upstairs was a museum of the history of telephone technology. Whenever we had phone problems, the telephone company technician would come down the stairs scratching his head and always called in for help. They always said they had never seen that old of equipment. <grin>
Yup, that's me. I don't
know whose car that is or what I'm doing.......
Behind the car is a large sliding glass door and there was another one on the opposite side. They were used to move cars in and out of the showroom. |
